Today is just so depressing. I don't even know what to say. I hope this wakes women up. I hope it stirs up some real collective anger... or something. Something has to change, I feel like there is this complacency...
Anyways, hugs to all my FDS queens on this shitty day
I am willing to fight, but I don't know how. I'm Canadian so I can access things like birth control , RU86 morning after pill, mifepristone and misoprostol. But how can I help women who need the things I have access to? I guess I'm saying we should consider organizing a way to mail each other "unbirthday " presents. America women, you're on your own ... but on your own WITH us women everywhere. We will not follow a law that is morally wrong.

RBG wasn't a fan of Roe v Wade... She saw it as stopping the momentum of women's advancement through irrefutable reasoning. And she was right about that.https://www.law.uchicago.edu/news/justice-ruth-bader-ginsburg-offers-critique-roe-v-wade-during-law-school-visithttps://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsweek.com/ruth-bader-ginsburg-roe-wade-abortion-scotus-1702948%3famp=1
I understand that, I posted a quote from her because she was still pro choice.

I think a lot of the legal groundwork has been laid (by RBG and others) for a robust legal amendment that doesn't rely on a high court ruling to enforce as an inalienable right. I think legally we are open for advancement that Roe v Wade made not worth working towards. So I get the frustration and rage, but I think it's a good thing if we focus on galvanizing a legal and political response. Like the ERA is a good example of a worthwhile amendment that lost steam bc a court ruling gave a patch solution that made it less pressing. It does depend on us now, and yea, it's depressing as hell that we were pulled into complacency (from men infiltrating feminism but I digress) but we still have recourse
RBG (among so many others), is partially why we’re in this mess. Had she stepped down when asked, we’d have one less crackpot making the decision that let us here today. I hate to see y’all put her on this pedestal.

This was so disheartening to see today.
