Ya'll, I just made a (slightly) panicked appt with my gyn to get my IUD replaced. Now that Roe v Wade isn't there to protect us, we need to protect ourselves. I am privileged AF in the sense that I have access to good insurance despite being in the U.S. That said, there are resources out there: Online pharmacies can provide deeply discounted, convenient birth control and emergency contraception. Here are some I've come across previously (obviously not an all-inclusive list): https://heyfavor.com https://afterpill.com https://www.nurx.com/birthcontrol/ Even Amazon sells generic Plan B (Levonorgestrel) for a fraction of the cost. Places like these offer access to discounted emergency contraception: https://www.singlecare.com/prescription/plan-b-one-step
https://www.helprx.info/plan-b-discounts-coupons
https://www.goodrx.com/plan-b-one-step Plan B itself is offering a $10 off coupon on its website.
I HIGHLY recommend looking in to long-term contraception solutions given that access to contraception may also be taken away if things continue to go downhill. I know it doesn't work for everyone, but I have LOVED my IUD and they're gonna have to tear it out of my cold, dead cervix. Obviously abstinence is the best contraception, but rape does happen....that's the nightmare we live in.
Take care of yourselves out there. And I hope others are able to chime in with other resources.
Yes! I just bought generic Plan B from Amazon (best these days to have it handy) and it was less than $10 and delivered the next morning.

This while thing is just horrible. Birth control is terrible for women. Like others said, the only choice is not having sex.
do u think women with hvm are worried?
