I was an escort for a year or two because I had lots of problems and living in my car became unsafe. I saw it as the only way to get some debts paid off quickly and make enough money for a place to live till i figured out something else.
I worked in a couple agencies; the way we talked about our work among each other was sooo different than how we had to act in front of clients or publicly at all. Most of what they are paying you is to pretend you like it. Everyone hated the work and you become more hateful of men the longer you do it. There's just no way to do it and actually make money if you don't pretend you enjoy it.
Yea I realized pretty quickly that my "job" was degrading and horrible and like torture and that it was a very gaslighting industry. Men would say things like "I can tell when a woman actually cums and when she is faking it, wow you didn't fake it!" When I had disguised a full-body shudder for an orgasm because the clock I had been watching had finally, finally hit the almost hour mark. It's really just the most fucked up acting job anyone can sign up for.
99 percent of women do this out of desperation. The whole society tries to tell us that women love doing it. The whole time, you are on guard and protecting yourself the best you can and have to be so fake. You train to be able to physically remove a man's hands from choking you. You close your legs as much as you can so he can't hurt you by pounding too hard. You do doggy and tell him you love it that way-because you don't want to have to also look at him. I would imagine what I would make for dinner and cook chicken and chop vegetables in my mind the whole time.
I just wanted to share my own experience with it and about the dozens of women I have come across who did it. Nobody would do it if they didn't absolutely need to.
This sounds like a loud minority of women who produce videos saying this and it is from being traumatized and brainwashed that it is empowering. For me at the time, it did feel more empowering to charge men for it than to sleep in a car where they would try to break in and assault Me sexually and for Free. I have grown much since then, but compared to my desperate situation before doing it, it did give me one thing I wanted; money to not need a man.
Sorry that was so long. It just really irritates me that people think "sex workers" is the problem when it's the men who want them is the problem and the fact that it's the quickest way for a woman out of an extremely desperate situation. I hate the top 1 percent of women who do this and act like it isn't traumatizing as all hell. It is not at all like it is presented as for the vast majority of women who do this. They cannot wait to get out of each minute and hour of what they feel slaves to have to do to get by.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I agree that anyone who thinks that sex workers actually enjoy having sex with Johns is either delusional or disingenuous. I imagine that the men who use sex workers probably like to think this because it flatters their ego and also absolves them from blame but that doesn't make it true.
Thank you. It is obvious from the post that the woman(?) posting it has not experienced that type of desperation.
Or on the flip side, she may really need money and this is how you get more Johns is by making it sound like you actually enjoy being degraded like that.
Almost threw up in my mouth at the "adventurous and kinky" part. I became a jaded whore in a very short time and witnessed other women become like this in short order.
It is exactly what makes them money which is why there's so many of women who go out of their way to say shit like this. The men sex buyers can't be bothered with the guilt of what they are doing to women because it will make their dicks soft if they have to think about it.
I still can't believe how many married men would tell me "I'm in a happy marriage but she just doesn't like sex like you do" and not realize that duh, you're paying me to pretend I like the horrible things you do and I don't blame your wife because it sucks. If it wasn't so horrible you wouldn't have to pay someone to take it. They actually didnt seem to know what they are paying for; it's for their ego. But who was I to call them out, it would have just had me called a bitch on their little forums they like to make rating the women they pay to pretend they enjoy servicing their penis.
The most common reason they would rate women low, thus losing her future work, was to say "she didn't even seem to enjoy it" or "she wasn't enthusiastic enough" well you can't have it both ways where you use someone as a series of wet holes and genuinely expect them to enjoy it, it's so delusional.
Does this poster realize most sex workers cannot give “enthusiastic consent” and the high rate of trauma that comes along with it? I believe in not demonizing women and I support decriminalizing sex work for the exploited workers (not for the Johns who pay for sex). But I’ll have pro sex work folks tell me I’m ignorant and suppressing women’s rights because I think of it as a very dangerous way to make a living.
I'm not here to shame women, I do think it's not in the best interest of females to glorify a line of work known to be full of rape, abuse, and objectification though. It's important to recognize the customers of sex work to be scrotes who don't respect women as a whole.

That original post is incredibly naive! Running for office is not an option for women who've a history of sex work because it's the first thing the opposition will use against them. Just because "Johns" use sex workers doesn't mean that they respect them and it certainly doesn't mean that they would vote for them. The voters who aren't Johns won't vote for them either because they'll see the person's past as a sign of a lack of integrity. I'm not saying that this is fair, especially as there is a double standard where a man can run for office even if he's known to use sex workers but a woman with a history of being a sex worker cannot. Whoever wrote that post is clearly very naive and has no clue how the world actually works!

It's interesting that she says she wants more sex workers in government etc.
Let's just say a woman with that background successeds in that.
If she is like 99% of ex sex workers she will most likely make policies that punish johns, make policies so no woman has to resort to prostitution.
This libfem doesn't realize that these women don't like it.
How can she be so dense?
