Why are all womens tops see through? No one makes al mens casual tshirts see through. And sometimes I want to buy workout or lounge clothes online and I buy a basic T-shirt only to later realize it is see through.
If men can start class action lawsuits for not being able to message women, not being able to invade womens spaces, why can’t we start suing stores for : making womens clothing see through when mens isn’t. Having images of half naked women and girls all over the store when there are not any of men. (I am looking at you Target)
Thoughts? Isn’t anyone else annoyed by these?
It's the same with bikinis. Impossible to find one that actually covers my ass when I swim. I want to dive after fishiies not lie there with my asscrack barely hidden. The fashion industry is run by gay misogynistic men. Lifehack: Buy sweaters in the male section. Better quality and cheaper.
Sue for mandatory pockets in all women's pants and skirts.
In general , men clothes are utilitarian and I hate it… why are our clothes more decorative even though women do more labor and are probably multitasking as the same time? If men have sued for far less, why shouldn’t we.. clothing is something we should be able to use not just be decorative in. Anyways, sometimes I find myself buying from the mens section because thier clothing is much more durable and utilitarian… I bought some men joggers because they were made from better material and had zipped pockets .. and some mens cargo shorts since the womens were half the length and didn’t with pockets because of this.. I think we need to start training ourselves and our daughters that if you have a more durable and utilitarian clothing from the mens aisle.. we should go for it..I need my clothes to work for me not decoration.
Most womens clothes are hilarious. Here in Europe I can’t believe when I see berhska, Zara and Stradivarius clothing. It’s so pathetic. Not only see through but with weird cuts. I was trying to buy normal t shirt and I had a hard time to find because everything was cropped. Dresses absolutely short. Now what is infuriating me is that the new trend is corset like tops and dresses. Also the lace and the dresses that look like a night gown. They love to ridicule woman.
I think it's simple marketing. Women in general buy clothes more frequently than men for a multitude of reasons. Making clothes from cheap materials (that are see through or get see through within a couple of washes) makes them cheaper and makes them last less long, both of which will encourage women to buy more clothes. See through tops or tops cut in weird revealing ways also mean that you have to buy/own an additional item (like a tank top, undershirt etc.) to be able to wear it. And boom: suddenly you made two purchases instead of one because to able to wear that cute blouse to work or school (hello sexist dress codes!) you need to wear a nude or white top underneath.
Here for the lawsuit idea. Buying men's clothes keeps this issue hidden, and our voices silent just the way they like it. Time to be the change else they'll take away our autonomy.....oh
It forces us to buy more clothes. Instead of just a blouse, we have to buy a matching cami to ensure it isn't see through.
I hate it and rarely wear white shirts because of this. I always have to wear a cami underneath so that everyone isn't just seeing my lingerie lol
For t-shirts, I try to stick with ones that say they are "unisex" because they fit better and are usually made better. I know they don't fit everyone well, but I love them, and have no issues with them being see through. (men would never, ever put up with that!)
