If you've ever been on the receiving end off gross scrotes catcalling you then you'll know how gratifying it is when they stop. As a teen and in my 20s I would get catcalled like mad. When I turned 30 there was a huge drop off and I loved that I could be invisible to these losers. The worst ones are the ones who don't just whistle or call you beautiful, the worst ones are the ones who sexualize the mundane thing you're doing, "Yeah, put that envelope down that mailbox slot! I'd like to get into your slot!" or "You got me going crazy the way you're licking that ice cream cone!" Please just stfu while I drop my mail off and eat my summertime treat, thanksbye!

I'm unknowingly on the other side of this right now. I kept my hair in a pixie cut for the entirety of my 20's and half of my 30's....now that I've grown my hair out longer I am SO MUCH more visible to men. I love my new hair but I never realized that my short hair was such a good random dude deterrent. It sucks because being more conventially "pretty" is great for your career but sucks for being left alone when you want to be. Let me jog in PEACE!
