We are brainwashed into being mothers and wives and it is portrayed as the blissful experience. But research shows married women are unhappier than single women. So what does that tell us ? They need that propaganda to keep this machine going
This is very controversial, but I have ALWAYS thought this way. If a woman says she doesn’t value being a wife or a mother, she’s looked down upon. It literally blows my mind !
Also not shaming mothers or wives, it’s simply something that I don’t desire, especially since I’m in my early 20s…I just want to enjoy my life without being tied down by these titles
Exactly! It is a known fact that that single women are happier than married women and have a longer life expectancy than them. Men in relationships and marriages have a longer life expectancy and are happier than single men, and you and I both know the reasons why.
@Turquoise and Lavender Anecdotal,but I'm 53 and have been married for most of my adult life. Single now and my kids are grown and I've realized that I've never really been happy until now. I'm in control of my own time and money. No one trying to control who I am or how I am or tell me I have too many goddam cats LOL
