I'm not sure exactly what this means, practically, nor how it will play out. But it seems big, and potentially future generations of women will have completely different realities in the US, to women today.
If there are any women here with US law knowledge and know-how, feel free to expand on this/explain, for the rest of us.

according to what the woman has said, and if i understood correctly....it may override any abortion bans...
It seems legal arguments trying to go against the states sex discriminatory laws were previously judged unconstitutional because the Constitution doesn't have protections based on sex. The arguments can now be made on the basis that laws discriminating based on sex is against a person's Constitutional rights. Now laws related to female medical care restrictions (i.e. abortion bans) could be overturned on the basis of sex discrimination being unconstitutional and would not be able to be overturned by the Supreme Court. State abortion bans would be unconstitutional and even if appealed to the Supreme Court could have to uphold the sex discrimination because it's in the Constitution.
I do wonder how the definition of sex will be described and if this is more in line with trans rights in some way. I do not trust politicians to actually do what's best for women without some other agenda, especially when Democrats have been the ones pushing trans rights over women's rights.
