Okay so idk if it’s just me but I swear to god every time i ovulate I find myself attracted to the strangest men (who at any other time of the month would disgust me at the most or not interest me at the least) and develop these little mini crushes/fixations. Obviously i would never act on this bc I have a partner but my god it becomes intense. Please tell me it‘s not just me

😂 not just you. I generally find males more attractive during this period. Having a period tracker helped me notice how my cycle impacts my attraction.
We apparently want men who are more symmetrical and smell a certain way when we are ovulating lol. I wouldn't say I've been drawn to like the most masculine and strongest like the studies suggest but I'm more like you where I'm thinking "goddammit ovaries.. why this guy??"
But I do get crushes on guys who are not conventionally attractive to begin with. Ovulation is just like 'now you really really like them!' for me 😂

It's a real thing. Your ovaries aren't always necessarily acting in your best interests (they only have one goal: reproduce!) so take those crushes with a grain of salt if it's that time of the month.
