Including ones they don’t really even touch? I ask because I think it happened to someone I’m connected to there just yesterday as well. I do not post anything that breaks Reddit rules- no threats, harassment, hate speech against marginalized groups, etc. I was wondering if it was a glitch. Thanks.

Yes, Reddit is a cesspool of misogynist pedophiles and men with porn induced paraphilia. They have been systematically silencing women for over a decade. Women are silenced and there are subs dedicated to “jokingly” taking about murdering women, and sexualizing mutilated images of women. Yes Reddit censors and silences women - often women more intelligent and well spoken than the breed of man Reddit creates or the breed of men “moderating”.
If you’re gonna stay on reddit, make sure that any account you use to discuss women’s rights or criticize porn culture uses a different email address than your other accounts. Reddit is moderated by woman-hating troons that look for any excuse to ban women.
I think the admins do bans of accounts or subreddits in waves, like they have a bunch on a chopping block and then everything goes on whatever date they decide.
I wouldn't cite the reddit rules, it's more the culture of the specific subreddit that you are posting to. Every subreddit is an echo chamber, and if you post something that goes against the echo chamber that makes someone report you, those mods will also ban you. Then it sends flags to the whole system that if more people report you again or you're posting to the same subreddit again, you get more of a punishment.
