I'm finishing writing an experimental visual novel (in Spanish). Maybe I'll post it here? It has some NSFW and triggering topics, so maybe not. Anyway, I'm interested in mechas, but not in the stories featuring those giant robots, but in the machines themselves: how would they move, their weight, momentum, etc. I wanna write a short story about mechas, and need some inspiration. I've been told to try Armored Chore 3 for the PS2. Though it's an old game, it isn't a strategy-oriented RPG, which is cool for me, as I don't like that genre.
What game would you recommend?
BTW, slightly off-topic, but I've playing Sayooshi, and I can say it's a great denpa visual novel, though disturbing. I'd recommend it to those who liked Saya no Uta.
Horizon Zero Dawn and/or the sequel Horizon Forbidden West.
By far my favourite game series. Great story. Amazing female protagonist. The combat can get challenging, but the mechanics of the combat are stellar. And, most appealing to your needs, the 'enemies' are a bunch of animal style robots ranging from stags to T-rexes.
Zone of the Enders and gundam series
