... with my control top pantyhose! Sooo what I'd like to know is have any of you tried doing the keto diet? If so, did you have good results or did you run into any problems with it? I'm thinking of trying this but I worry about things like cholesterol etc. considering this diet seems to lots of meat and eggs. Any info or advice would be appreciated. Thanks a bunch ladies.

My body gets very bloated and unhappy with bread, potatoes, beans, pasta, rice, and desserts.
Keto makes me feel amazing and literally any bloat goes away overnight and I feel comfortable in my body again. It also gives me better and more consistent energy. You do NOT have to eat lots of eggs and meat, there are people who do the vegetarian version of keto. If you start this buy the ingredients for the recipe ketoade and start off with avocados and spinach in your daily foods so you don't get keto flu. You do NOT need special keto labeled powders, drink mixes, diet bars, or the pee sticks.
I did lose a lot of weight a couple years ago on keto (zero exercise, diet only) but it came back after I started eating junk again. Now I'm choosing to avoid my trigger bloat foods and going to the gym for a lifestyle more well rounded to me. Most of my groceries and meals at home are still keto friendly though!
@gleebohanon After thinking about all you've said I finally decided to give this a try. I've also decided to start doing some light aerobics to help it along. Hopefully I'll soon have a nice flat tummy and some better health. Thank you again for all your info!
KETO is great for anything that has to do with the metabolism. I hope you give it a try.
Thank you so much for this info. I really think this could help me a lot. Not just with weight loss but hopefully some autoimmune problems I've been having.
Here's great resource for more info about it. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/keto/visual-guides?fbclid=IwAR3fEYQQQjbzEkvyir6KX8q19WdFpqFMjjaCmrpQneCxnI6YVMTtrN36c68
The only problem is that sometimes I binge on carbs because I love them so much especially potatoes and my body will protest. It's one way I know I'm doing the right thing. But on the whole I have seen nothing but benefits. My skin is clearer. My mind is, too. I have energy to burn. I would do it even if I didn't lose weight (not everyone does). Also, it's simple. Switch over to eating healthy fats, protein and lots of leafy greens. Skip all the junk food. Control your portions. Simple. I also do IF and throw in an actual 24 hour fast once a week - usually Monday. I allow myself a "cheat day" every couple of weeks when I can have cake or ice cream (or both) or a loaded baked potato. Then I jump right back into my new eating pattern. I don't use the word "diet". When you make the switch there can be a week or two where you'll experience some issues. It's sort of like a mild flu. If that happens, add salt to your diet, and up your water. Water is critical. Drink lots of it. I add slices of lemon to mine.
Yes, I've been doing KETO since about January. So far I've lost 45 pounds. It works better for me than any other diet I've tried.
