I just finished episode 5 and it's so good. It's an Australian tv show, adapted from a novel, that explores the topic of domestic abuse. The show is female centered. The first episode was hard to watch, but it's a great cautionary tale highlighting the significance of identifying signs of violent and abusive behavior in men. Episode 5 was both triggering and validating for me. The cinematography is exquisite, and it only has 7 episodes in total ( last episode will come out on Sep.1st).
I'm curious to know your thoughts on the show!
SPOILER ALERT!
I'm not liking Dylan! I think the scrote potential is high with this one! (I was thinking that even before he stomped off in a massive sulk in Ep 5 leaving her alone in the wilderness.) Echoes of June and her relationship with Clem's 'charismatic' father?
omg started the show and the cinematography really is stunning - which makes what its depicting so much more dramatic in my opinion
