She tweeted that she was in love with him before she had even met him, iirc. That makes me think she had a very precarious sense of herself and was easily seduced emotionally through flattery and empty promises. But then all that stuff where he promised her immortality - how messed up do you have to be to believe that? I mean, I imagine someone telling me they could make me and my pets immortal and I would just back away slowly, then run out the nearest exit. There's a theory that she was cynical and believed he was rich and could bail out her business. Which would still make her gullible, but maybe not completely insane.
a grown woman that wears pigtails every day and infantilizes herself/acts like everything is out of her control when it very obviously didn't need to be that way. i do believe she was abused by that gross man, and i believe it influenced her decision to pretend nothing was going on. but i don't believe she was clueless- she was just in too deep and was being mentally tortured by that guy.
She was sooo weird and her lack of empathy to her employees was frustrating. I think she was complicit the whole time. She had life made, but she blew it up and fumbled bag after bag because she wanted to be "special" smh. She was a major pickme

It sucked to watch because it looked like she was at the cusp of building a little empire for herself, with the restaurant, books, and the lines of products. To watch that all go up in smoke over a no value dude really bummed me out… I think sometime around when they got married she had to have figured out at least some of what was going on was a scam. I wonder if she was too embarrassed to admit what was going on and felt she was “in too deep” to get out emotionally and financially.
I dunno, I'm really, really hesistant to be hard on her. So many parts of her situation reminded me of situations I've been in. I believed *a lot* of weird, delusional things narcissistic men told me. I don't think it means that she was crazy, complicit, messed up, or has a personality disorder. I think she was seduced the way many smart, sincere women are, by truly wanting to meet their match in partner and hanging onto that hope. She had the terrible luck of having this abusive psycho target her. I hope she heals from the whole ordeal and builds a great life.

Hard to pin her down. I think, in the end, she has some type of personality disorder.
