Kamio Misuzu, from AIR (even though I only played the visual novel). She's one of the few KEY heroines that end up kind of independent, which is cool. She's also autistic (IMO), like me. And, in general, her story is very interesting. I also find her mom (Haruko), to be a very interesting character, too.

I also like Nagisa from CLANNAD for similar reasons (specially in After Story).

That’s tough… idk if there’s any anime characters I know that are head strong since they’re so submissive. Nonetheless, I have a list of female characters that I think are HV:
- Winry from FMA, she’s a mechanic from Rush Valley. She has a good heart, and she cares about Ed and Al, but she won’t compromise herself for those two.

Riza Hawkeye from Fullmetal Alchemist, Izumi Curtis, Olivier Armstrong. So many good female characters in FMA!
Princess Kaguya is also a fantastic Ghibli movie. She’s a Princess (obviously) Many suitors come to see her and propose marriage. Each man offers her some sacred, fantasy item. Can’t remember what they were now. It’s all just fluff though. She tells each of them. “Go and get me what you promise. Then I will consider you.” each scrote dies while attempting to get it lmao. Ghibli always does their girls justice.
