Just watched this 2022 movie starring Aubrey Plaza and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't a cliche thriller/action movie.
I won't spoil it, but I will say it's nice to see a woman kicking ass and stepping over a man to win, instead of giving up everything to be with him.
The premise is that Aubrey's character, Emily, has $60-70k USD in student loans and minor felony charge from a DV situation so finding decent employment is impossible. Hence the descent into crime.
Fun, easy to watch and some good twists and turns.
Worth checking it out: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15255876/
If you've seen it, what did you think?
She's great. A badass.
I liked it. Definitely an unexpected ending. I'm chuckling over it.
Thanks. I'm going to watch this.
