I said what I said. Being constantly angry, especially at things that are not under one's control, is just unnecessary stress most of us do not need.
News? Just stick to your local immediate news, weather, and traffic. Avoid headlines, avoid anything beyond your city/county/department/state/canton/province/oblast, etc.
Obesity, cancer, strokes are issues largely worsened by stress. That is an even incentive to avoid angry news content.
If you live in, say, Canada, you cannot do anything about, say, FGM if you're not in (certain) parts of Africa and Asia. Likewise, if you're in Singapore you can't do anything about US politics. Really.
All that extra anger is also worsening anxiety and other (pre-existing) mental issues. If you're on treatment for, say, major depression, what good does it do to you losing sleep over anything you can't control? If you live in, say, Brazil, what can you do to about femicide in, say, the Caribbean? Both areas have insanely high rates of femicide. Yet, there are things you could do locally (eg. donating pads to women's shelters) to help.
I think it's similar to donating money or volunteering. There are so, so many worthy causes out there but you can't give money or your time to even single one, even if you believe in and care about all of them. You have to pick a few or you'll go broke and burn out. Just like money and time, our emotional energy and empathy to care about causes is limited.
You (or even your country) can't save the whole world.
All that angers me is how men treat me and my friends. Honestly can't understand why people are foaming at the mouth about Gaza, the climate in Bangladesh, or FGM in Somalia. Not my circus, not my monkeys.
Does it suck? Sure. Is most of it scrote's fault? Damn right. Does my anger change the behavior of some Talib? No.
The best thing Women can do is to just avoid men as much they can, I’ve had to delete tiktok like every week for my mental health
Replace every unproductive emotion with entitlement and that's when the second half of your life begins!
What kind of humans are we when we ignore others suffering? The privilege in this post is unreal. It’s easy for someone who is not impacted by any of the above to just turn a blind eye and ignore it.
