Will porn be the downfall of the patriarchy?

The majority of women in prostitution/pornography want to leave the "industry", but cannot. If those of us with more privilege use this moment in time when men are damaging their own brains with porn, to gain power, skills, resources and organise effectively, what is to stop us from helping these women to leave? Hiring them into women-owned businesses where they will not face stigma from employers, creating better and better opportunities for women so they are less easily coerced into these industries, getting our own message out through feminist-owned media, and so on.

Yes this is a long-term plan, but we don't have any other choice as far as I can see.

That would be a dream, being able to rescue these women and give them a better more meaningful life without judgment of their past. The thing is, although a good portion of women either do porn because of sex trafficking or being young and impressionable, in that majority, the women are so brainwashed the only thing that stops them is being let go due to age. I've seen alot of women in the porn industry rag on women who work regular jobs, talking down on them because they make 20, 25, 30 dollars an hour where the pornstar can make 200 an hour or something. This came from a black LESBIAN woman. If the patriarchy got lesbian women selling themselves on only fans for men- then this is going to be tough. Is it doable- I really do think so, but it would require a whole reworking and undoing of the brainwashing women are subjected to since birth and since most women don't want to do that because "it's mean to men" and "[insert non empowering topic] is super empowering you just want women to be ugly or whatever" or "I'm going to take back [derogatory topic] and make it ours as a fuck you to patriarchy" it will be like talking to a brick wall. I'm starting to realize the porn industry isn't going to be enough to take men down because what you want to do is just a long term thing, the patriarchy will realize the error of its way (men are realizing the harks of porn TO THEMSELVES and only that is making them cut back/stop) in a relatively short period of time and crack down on porn so that men can retain their power to exploit women. Another thing is that porn won't be enough to weaken men if women just won't ditch them. It's not only the porn actresses that aren't going, but also the women by men's side. Porn is just one of the many harmful aspects of the patriarchy. If a good amount of porn actresses are willing to work in women owned businesses to make a new life for themselves that would be amazing, I just think we shouldn't just see porn as an end all be all. Men have been treating women like shit before porn was ever a thing.
