I've known so many guys like this. The military is their entire identity, but they never even bother to enlist. A friend of mine would brag about she was supporting her husband because he had to study for the ASVAB. She was convinced that he was a genius and was going to score so high on the ASVAB that he would enter as a captain or some BS. For 2 years he didn't work because he was "studying" (smoking pot and playing video games). Then he drove down to take the ASVAB and it was a huge ordeal. We had a party and everything. Halfway there he called his wife to pick him up because he decided he'd made a mistake and didn't want to enlist anymore. Now he holds it against her because he feels like she should have encouraged him more. Just LOL.

That tattoo is some seriously shoddy work as well.

So she calls her forever fiancee her “husband” because they’re engaged, calls herself an “army wife” because her fiancee “is thinking about enlisting”, and encouraged him to get a tattoo of a school he “has in his heart”, but never went to. I feel like this is a troll, but it’s so hard to tell these days. Anyway, I’m off to print out a medical degree because I’m thinking about attending med school.
