Marilyn Manson made the posts about the flowers in January 2020. The posts are still up on insta and twitter. The accusation was in 2021. Unless Rowling is a clairvoyant, there's no way she would know. The reason is unclear, but I read Manson helped her with research for her book.
Her support to keep casting Depp is more complicated because it wasn't only between her and Depp, but the whole other people (crew, actors, investors, etc.) involved in the film. She's never been the sole decision maker for the movies and we didn't know what was discussed behind the closed doors. Recasting a major role is a big deal, I can imagine the stakeholders would not be happy about that.

Unless JK Rowling set up a news alert and follows his career closely, there is really to reason to be aware of misdeeds of washed up musicians like Manson. She probably liked his songs, sent a flower and didn't think about it again.
Depp is also fat and useless, but he gets by on old reputation. Don't think it's up to her to do casting choices. Typical normie thinks Depp is still hot, but unless you keep up, normies still think he looks ok. Could be JK is a typical normie that got goofy eyes for Depp without been aware.
