My ex-boyfriend complimented me on my natural beauty and while it’s true I don’t wear make up, my hair takes nearly three hours every eight weeks, I get my lashes and brows done, I’ve had Botox and my teeth whitened plus he’s witnessed my skincare regime. There’s nothing natural about my appearance aside from the fact it doesn’t rub off 🙄
A coworker was telling me how she had Khloe Kardashian (with her new face) at our work and how " she was so naturally pretty". I was just like "I don't think you understand what naturally pretty means"
But think about the many excitements life can bring! He is going after them and will definitely give you some! 🤡
he is also open to meet and see where it goes. wow what a catch, he even just explained to you what dating is but also his ”meet” makes sure he can go 50/50 with you. After all he didn’t say he wants to date. He said he wants to meet.
I don’t even have the energy to get to the “ makeups” but it sounds stupid enough that i know everything after that will be really stupid too.

No, no I don’t think they do. My last boyfriend claimed he didn’t care about any of that stuff but he would always openly lust after strippers with stage make up and sparkles and fingernails you could roast a kebab on. So I never really believed him, not that it mattered I’m not changing my getting ready routine for some dude, but it turned out he really just objected to me spending any of my own money on anything like that because that was less money he could try to get me to spend on him.
Yeah, do they want to go 50:50 on my beauty? I think this is a big part of it. They want us waxed and fluttery lashed but they don’t want to acknowledge what that costs.

It could also be a manipulative tactic where he says he likes "natural beauty", but what he really means is, "don't wear make up or do anything that might make you more appealing to other men. Stay as ugly as possible so other men don't find you attractive so I don't have to worry about you finding someone better than me. " it's the same thing men will do to women by making them fat. Or encouraging them to eat so they get fat and become less appealing to other men.

That was definitely some of it. I’m disabled but I like to work part time and immediately after I started working at a law office he got really mean. My best friend speculated that it was because he knew I was around grown up educated men at work and it freaked him out. GOOD. 😂
Of course they don't, men aren't visual creatures, if they were most of them wouldn't let themselves be ugly and fat by choice.

Whenever any gross scrote tries to tell me he is a visual creature, I like to slowly look him up and down, not subtly suppress a laugh, and then simply ask “are you?”
Honestly makeup doesn't change women's appearance that much, and most of the time men have NO IDEA when women are wearing "natural" makeup

Oh I disagree, I mean regular daily make up, no it doesn’t you are right. But I’ve seen people do some really impressive stuff with some contour, lip liner, and highlight. But I don’t think most women are going through all that just for a date, that’s more for their Instagram photos.

Yes! Makeup can dramatically change your look! I watch a ton of makeup influencers, and boy can you transform yourself!
Okay okay this is going to be my last time I will respond to an OLD thread, but anyway. Man's about to hit 40 years old and is still afraid of makeup? 💀
This is something I'm so torn about but on one hand, makeup IS a part of patriarchal expectation of what women ought to look like, as well as a part of capitalism that seeks to finesse women's hard earned money that historically used to be very difficult for us to attain. But on the other hand, a man that says he likes natural beauty only is starting to become a red flag for me and I don't know why.
We all know men are way more attracted to artificial femininity than actual women (our bodies and vulvas disgust the majority of men), so for them to keep saying they hate makeup on a woman is... I'm just not buying it.

Bro thinks he’s DEEP. 😂 That’s some real Master of the Universe thinking right there. *swoon*
Men like this think Kim K is "natural" so have no clue what a real woman looks like. NEXT
Most of them can’t tell no makeup from very natural makeup. At least he was up front though. Swipe left.
He just told on himself by sharing his motto. Not interested in his manipulative excuses.
I'm more concerned with his motto. Sounds like a rapey mindset...
