I was thinner in my younger years, but only because I was a pathetic pickme, who thought that if I were just skinny enough I could find true love. I started eating unhealthy and drinking a lot in order to dull the hurt. I wound up with a weight problem and have been working on it, for four years with some success. I lost over a hundred pounds in four years, and got out on a diabetes injectible medication that is helping me lose more weight. I also got Sober, my four year Sobriety date will be next month. I have heard a lot of "You have a beautiful face, but I'm not into big women," more times than I care to think about. I know I won't ever be as skinny as I was in my twenties, but I have started to deep down love myself and see my worthiness as a human being and a woman. My partner is also very supportive. We have had our differences but he treats me well, and we love and are attracted to each other. It's not the requirement for anyone to be universally pleasing to everyone else's eyes.
