For those of you who happen to be on Ovarit, I'm sure you have noticed a strange silence until recently over the continuous erosion of women's reproductive rights by the GOP.
It made ZERO sense to me to see one of the feminist platforms I respected for quite sometimes neglecting one the major issues around women's rights currently.
then this post from the BlackPillFeminism regarding the gender critical subreddit dawned on me :

GenderCritical is probably the biggest anti-gender ideology community at the moment, certainly biggest in Reddit. This means that it draws a lot of people who are ONLY there for the anti-trans posts, and don't even identify as radfems. Since every remotely liberal space strongly forbids any criticism of the Gender Cult, people have to go to GC to have these discussions. Just look at how many subs are hysterically anti-TERF, even those that have nothing to do with politics and allow all kinds of other bigoted shit to be posted there.
Most GC posters are not radfems at all. You can see it clearly in any discussion that is more complex than "gender ideology bad". And yes, a lot of he posters there are very uncomfortable with gender non-conformism in any form, especially in men.
A recent poll was made on Ovarit that confirms exactly the same stance. Only 50% of users identify as radical feminists, the other 50% not so much.
The main takeaway is to always take gender critical posters with a grain of salt. Espescially when they try to discourage women from voting or encourage them to vote for those trying to restrict their reproductive options.
I also suspect that there are many right wing inflitrators larping as feminist in that website. Just like Louise Perry.
They should vote. Both options are shit, but I'm not voting for the party that helped overturn Roe v Wade.
