Whatever the agenda each of these ballot measures is advancing, there is evidence (and I don't have the time/energy to research it....everyone knows how to Google FFS) that voter participation (those who actually bother to make the herculean (/s) effort to actually vote...and don't get me started on the overall apathy of the typical US voter 🙄) increases significantly when abortion issues are on the ballot.
Abortion issues on the ballot typically benefit the Democrat/Progressive candidates/issues down ballot. I am cautiously optimistic that a more engaged electorate will help keep Schmuck a l'Orange VonSchitzenpants out of the WH for good!
Yeah but you still have the orange disasters followers to deal with....especially in Congress. At this point they should rename the Republican party to the Party of Trump.
Also, this is the best that both parties can offer? I'm voting Biden again even though I don't like either choice. I'd rather not live in a real life Handmaids Tale.
