Wouldn't waste my breath on men here. I don't date anymore. My sanity health and life depend on staying away from emotional and physical abuse. It's bad globally. I'd prefer to spend my life differently and I'd hope other women would too. Just think what we could do if we worked together, and globally.
It's ghosting. Irish men think they're funny. They're not. They're deliberately wasting women's lives. I don't know which abusive man coined that term but I didn't and I don't agree with it coz it is emotionally abusive and a sign of worse treatment. Conflict avoidance is making excuses to allow them to carry on this abuse and I will never enable that. I don't date anymore so they can relabel abuse any which way they want it's still the same.

Not from Ireland but can you explain where the "Irish goodbye" came from? Why do men, especially Irish men, do this? Conflict avoidance?
