Black woman here. This may not be popular but it is very true. Classic black culture bullshit. Black culture has always revered black men even thought many, many, many of them do not revere anything of our culture except themselves. Many black women were taught it was better to have any kind of a man than no man at all (past generations) and then later "speak life into your man" while hoping for a marriage proposal, while trying to prove to him you are wife material while he spreads his community dick everywhere, rarely sees your children (you probably had out of wedlock) and continues to father more. With new black female content creators alot of black women are leaving the black community mind think in the trash where it belongs. Additionally, for uneducated black men and those that loathe themselves they practice colorism, which has been watered down to being a preference. Simone is gorgeous and a GOAT!!!! Low IQ men like the one she chose to marry may consider her less than a 10 because of her skin color and phenotype. It clearly shows that her family is mired in this type of thinking for her to even allowed him to grace her presence.
