Women, especially Black women are always held to a higher moral standard than men.
Remembering when Eminem cock suckers shamed Mariah more for saying she didn't sleep with Marshal than they judged Eminem for being a a consistently sexist pos who used to glorify rape.
Mariah, among other female artists get judged more for being a diva or other characteristics than a majority of male rappers and artists do for being serial abusers, misogynists, and overall toxic.
I don't necessarily think Meg is an ideal FDS role model, but I do think she's deserving of more respect and compassion than she's been receiving in the industry and in public. I'll definitely trust her before I trust any male rapper.
It’s so disheartening how this trial is going. Black women are not often afforded the chance to even be seen as a victim. The woman was literally shot!!! She could have ended up disabled or dead! Yet all people can talk about is her sex life. Literally 90% of male rappers are sexual or physical abusers. She’s getting way more heat than any of them ever do.
