Honestly it doesn’t matter if he’s reducing effort because he found another woman, or because he’s jerking off and playing video games, or if he’s a workaholic, or if he lost his job and he’s depressed. If he becomes low-effort, you simply get rid of him. No need to dwell on why he changed.
Who cares what he’s doing, this kind of nonsense just feeds the sense that men have all the power. Similar to ‘If he wanted he would’, which should be ‘he’s too LV/lazy/an asshole to try’
I wish we didn’t live in a fucked up patriarchal society, that normalises this kind of shit everywhere.
I always viewed that saying like the man is at fault/responsible for his actions, and you should stop trying to be seggsier/more available/more submissive etc. To get him to treat you right
If he wanted to, he would. Implies that he intentionally isnt giving you what you're expecting of him. And that u shouldn't assume he doesnt want or that he doesnt know how.
It implies that he is capable and has enough resources to please you, but just isn't doing it. Which is unacceptable.
Same with sex, if he's not in the mood for sex he'll be more interested in screwing you over. If he's no longer attentive, "Nice" he's showing his true colors then he has the nice guy act intact with another woman. Ppl say I'm hostile but I don't tolerate disrespect, It's now or never, all or nothing anything less means goodbye, I'm not going to wait until you remember how to be a man, how to nurture what he has, I'm outie.
Immediately dump at the first sign of lost interest/disrespect.

I have a policy that I implement ruthlessly:
When a man I am not yet in a relationship with (i.e., just dating or chatting) sends me a monosyllabic text without explanation or follow-up, I block and delete immediately. There are no second chances.
Monosyllabic responses are extremely disrespectful, and I wish other women would see them for the insults they are. When a man sends you one-word or one-syllable texts, he is saying that he does not give a fuck about you and considers you lowlier than a prostitute.
(I understand this may be relevant to English speakers only.)

Stuff like this pisses me off.
