I totally get that feeling. It's hard not to feel scarcity mindset when dating! That's not your fault.

When I get this way, it helps to challenge myself to "logic" my way out of it. That means asking myself "hey MP2K, is this REALLY the last and only time in your entire life you'll find XYZ? Truly?" Then I begrudgingly answer myself "No, it's not true I'll never do or feel xyz ever"

Of course, applying logic to emotions isn't magic, but I find it allows me to break through the emotional funk to see my fatalist thinking and not get stuck in it.

It's okay to mourn the loss of what you thought could have been, but there's no reason to be hard on yourself.
