Hello, I just want to put some positive vibes out here.
Tonight when my flatmate's long-distance bf arrived, he had gone to the pharmacy on the way over at her request to pick up some pain meds. He also brought with him an expensive item because she's mentioned something about needing a little bit of DIY in her bedroom. This item is a preventative for the DIY problem, though we actually already have one. He simply knew she would need it and bought one. I bought one a year ago for over £100, so I know how much they cost!
I am glad for her, because overall I have good vibes from the man. They do exist!
I guess maybe I'm jaded. All I can think about is how my ex-husband did all of these little things for me... but I later found out he had done so by taking out loans in my name and destroying my credit. And the amount he spent on me was nothing compared to what he was spending on himself and his affair partner. But I hope for her sake that this guy's one of the good ones.
