Just finished watching this show from the mid 00's and wow my FDS radar pinged. We've got a forever gf of 10 years, guy who won't marry her, 3 kids no ring and mr 50/50 with money is totally screwing her over.
This fool left his gf to raise his kid alone while she attended school in Canada and he went to the US for school. He never paid a dime of support so she racked up debt.
He refuses to marry her, even though she has a dress and wants to get married before her dad dies of an illness.
This guy HATES her and she can't see it
Sometimes, the purpose of your life is to serve as a warning to others.
Aaaaaaaah, I actually overheard 2 women chatting and one woman was in this exact situation (except the dude was still living/mooching off her) and the other woman asked if they were married yet and she said 'no', and then the other woman was like 'Aww well, you're basically already married! More married than married people' I almost choked at the company lunch when I heard that
A work, my coworker announced the other day that her son just proposed to his girlfriend of 7 years. "I raised my boy right," she said. 7 years to decide if she's worth it or not...smh...
Girl, why.
Idk. Maybe dad would have been happy to see his daughter dump his ass and marry someone with an actual personality instead. I feel so bad for her. She seems so sweet and so resillient with all the stress she was dealing with. Why do guys treat women like her this way?
The young lady at work was gaslighting herself about wanting a $800 engagement ring 🤣 I tried to tell her that ring is symbolic of their relationship and his attitude says a lot. Good luck to her bare minimum relationship.
Wow! What a throw back. I used to watch this all the time after school haha
but this guy is so shitty, goes to school on a scholarship and doesn’t do anything to help his gf when she’s just had their child and blames all the debt on her. Then at the end is still dragging his feet about marrying her. What a POS. I’d love to know if they ever got married.
I was happy at the beginning when Gail called him out asking if it was a 50/50 relationship and then rolls her eyes because she knows
I’m in a group with a girl who has a child and is engaged (not to the child’s father). She gave him a 10k contribution towards the house he purchased—in his name— and she bought all the furniture. She isn’t well off by any means but she wanted to contribute. Now he’s threatening to kick her and the little girl out and she has nothing. ;(
This was a good show. "Princess" as well.
There was also a coupon Queen who makes family dinners using extreme couponing while raising the children, making dinner for the forever boyfriends friends while he goes to college and can focus on his career.
Tbh I find it difficult to feel sympathy for such women. Like how stupid can you really truly be. And they make things worse for all women when they put up with such shit.
