There is one thing I don't understand about men in general

i agree with you except for the "go sleep with a prostitute" part. i'm against prostitution because it's just paid rape. money can't erase trauma.

i think men do this because they're bad and because they can (they have the power for that). end of story. sometimes the explanation is as simple as that. they grow up in a culture that hates woen at a level we can't comprehend because, even though we exprience and suffer with such hatred, we are not as cruel as they are. we just want to get away from them instead of engaging in some kind of revenge. they call us men haters when we refuse to give them what they want, when we defend ourselves from their dirty strategies, call us femcels and such. because they project. they are the woman haters, have been for millenia.

even the HVM can do that. they simply choose not to. and they can change their minds any time.

Hurting women is the original game for male entertainment. They enjoy making us cry, making us crazy, and feeling powerful over us. Paying a prostitute is a physical admission that he needs the female. They hate nature and want to punish women for the ways things are. Hurting us is a way to get back at women for their sex drive and the feeling that they need and must have us. So making you need him by being kind to you and getting you to fall in love is his way of getting back at God for giving him a sex drive that makes him feel like he has to have a woman around. And he hates that he must work to have sex--that he's just not issued a vagina-possessing woman by virtue of simply being born male.

It could be pride and ego. Visiting a prostitute is mostly considered as “disgusting” and “lowly” to society so a lot of men would would want to avoid going to one unless they’re super desperate.

they treat women nice in the beginning because they couldn’t hook them if they opened with their real intent. Love-bombing serves men well and women are tricked by it easily most of the time because it’s so rare that a man is truly decent.

the “why does he do that?” Book explains how men get rewarded for being abusive. Such as if you get upset that he doesn’t do the dishes, then he punishes you by yelling and putting holes in walls, you’ll just do them yourself next time. the fear of upsetting him makes it not worth it to stand up for yourself.

Prostitutes don’t deserve to be treated badly either. They already get robbed, raped, blackmailed, and subjected to huge amounts of trauma. most of them are in desperate times and just (somewhat ironically) trying to get enough money to escape from men, and to keep from being homeless. Please remember they are also people and are also victims of patriarchy. Trust me they are not paying for and carrying a prostitutes groceries. Nobody gets into prostitution unless they are truly desperate and that signals to men that they can take advantage even more. If they see women as less than human,it goes doubly so for how they treat a woman they feel entitled to treat as a slave whose boundaries are even less respected because they “paid for it”

i get that you are saying that at least it’s consensual for the man to use her for sex, but is still not a good solution for any woman. the scrote men should stay far away from women, all women because they are detrimental to all women.

The simple fact is that some men do not view women that withhold sex for any reason as innocent or kind. They believe you have given yourself to other men and therefore any extra effort you demand of a man is a demonstration that you dont respect or lust them like the men they believe you gave up more to for less.

Therefore they view pretending as a way of getting one over on a woman they felt was mistreating and disrespecting them. They want you to feel like you found the one, right before they shatter the illusion. They want you to feel as disrespected as they felt.

Except when I read this:

I see your point, however it's dehumanizing to the poor, traumatized, abused, raped and exploited women in prostition, when you wish they would just use other women. This is one of 100+ reasons why I am against prostitution. If you visit a "sex-worker" you are in fact a disgusting predator by default.

Very good question; it was one I had myself a while back but the answer is this: men love three things: control, power and domination.

For men, if they get anything easily, they don't take it seriously. Sleeping with a prostitute is a far and easy exchange - fair in that he wants sex and she is in a position to give him sex and easy, for the same reason. Men like to take things from people. They prefer to pretend that they care for and respect a woman, the enjoy making the woman fall for them which in turn makes the woman open to sleeping with the man. In this scenario, he tricked her into getting sex. After sex, he'll tell the woman that he's "not ready for a relationship" but it's a wonder why he didn't tell the woman this before sleeping with her. Why doesn't he tell her? Because he knows most women want to be intimate with a man that sees a future with them and not a man that wants to hit it and quit it.

Men also don't visit prostitutes because many would feel like losers if they had to pay a woman for sex. This is also power-based in that they'd feel pathetic that women don't want them, which makes them have to pay for sex.

Also, ironically, many men feel that sleeping with prostitutes is disgusting.....yet it's not disgusting to them that they use women for sex and then discard them. Lastly, many of them don't go to prostitutes because they fear being found out and ridiculed, being found out and arrested in places where prostitution is illegal or because they can't afford to - especially if they want to be with escorts who I've heard charge a lot more than prostitute
