Ah, Scandinavian men are... interesting. The same with Western European men in general. It would seem that Eastern and Southern European men tend to be more old fashioned and enjoy being giving towards women. My experiences with European men in general leave much to be desired, to be honest. They really push hard with the whole gender equality stuff and instead of both sexes being actually equal in the ways that matter irl (law protections, income, educational, etc), it just inspires the men to become very much feminized and ultimately useless in the long term. I've met many European women who also try very hard to be masculine-minded and as an American woman, they did a great job shaming me for having been married in my 20s (which I regret lol) and not wanting to compete against men. (???) To note, I definitely know that there are European women out there who aren't all like this, so please don't take this post the wrong way if you are a woman from Europe, believe me I have met great ones and amazing women from all around the world also.
This actually shows a reality here. I think Scandinavian men get undeserved slack, just for being scandinavian. I hear it constantly from women outside of Scandinavia wanting to date scandinavian men because "ThEy HavE FuLL EqUalitY ThEre". Our men are higly valued outside of our countries, because people think thay they are less misogynistic. It is like men here know that they are highly desireable by foreign women, and therefore they can do (and WILL do) as they please.
That's what I mean when I said men here are entitled.
General advice for anybody reading this thread: Stop giving these men so much slack, they haven't done anything to deserve it, and there are as many scrotes here than in any other part of the world, that men here are more equal is just a stereotype, and vetting is just as important here as in any other country.
