I don't know what category this falls under because I'm not "asking" anything, but I don't know where to put it. I don't know if I'm supposed to name the sub either. I'll give a hint: women have 2 X chromosomes. Anyway, today marked something in which I almost have to quit that sub. One major drawback is that, although the sub is for female perspectives on just about everything, they ALLOW MEN on that forum, and I saw a thread there today that broke my heart. A woman there was bothered that her boyfriend kept wanting to wait to get married because he wanted to tell people that he was with her for at least 2 or 3 years, or "others" would think he's marrying too young. The man is otherwise ready to marry her, and doesn't have financial issues either, but he wants to assign this arbitrary number for how long he's been in a relationship with her, and she feels upset by this, and yet none of the respondents except me was able to see her side. A man replied to my comment saying that the boyfriend had a right to wait, given that men are given the "short end" in divorce/custody disputes (sounds like an MRA).
Now, I don' t know if the commenters in her thread were too discouraging (they were agreeing with the boyfriend), but I felt sorry for the woman in that no one except me had sympathy for her situation. If that were posted on FDS, I just know that the responses might have been different.
Yeah, reddit is garbage and TwoX not only allows men to comment, they also have male moderators. Very much defeats the purpose. Plus all they do there is complain, no strategy. It's depressing.

If you're still keen on finding a decent subreddit you could try fourthwavefeminism. That one hasn't been banned yet. Also it's always been endlessly funny to me that it's literally called "two x chromosomes" but then it has trans flag colours plastered all over it.
twox is known to be MRA-leaning and has been that way for a pretty long time. trollx spawned as a result though i haven't read that sub in a long time and assume it's as libfem as the rest of mainstream internet.
Once again we're faced with a situation in which a man is looking for external validation to his relationship. If we were to take this at face value, he's not asking for advice about a problem in the relationship, nor did anyone else come to him with concern.
Which gives us two points to consider;
1. future faking, as mentioned by other commenters (he REALLY wants to get married, it's not the right time!) If this woman does wait another year or two, is he going to push it back again? E.g. I've been looking at rings, but we can't afford them right now. Let's save for a house first.
2. If he is ready to get married, and she communicated the same to him... why not go for a long engagement? Pretty often couples have a year-long engagement before the wedding. In fact, it can take a really long time just to wedding plan. Then the guy has exactly what he wants, a 2 year long+ relationship before marriage.
Ladies, please do not beg for things that should come naturally to you.
And the lady in the given situation has the right to move the f*** on from this man who puts a Number on marriage year and for dangling marriage carrot is front of her to keep her around and find a man who doest think what other ppl will think of him . Sounds a bs excuse . If her intuition says something is wrong that she needs to take advice on forum then something is wrong. Let's not give men the benefit of doubts .
Reddit is incel central and full of misogyny. You could throw rocks for miles and you’ll never hit a genuinely feminist, women-centric (not men in dresses) safe subreddit. Even the ones that come so, so close will happily tear women down when the opportunity arises (see: Deuxmoi and JK Rowling)

Sigh. Oneitis is a tough situation for any woman. If there's anything I sincerely regret in my life and something I still keep seeing in other women, it's never taking advantage of dating multiple men at once to keep emotions at bay. Society has done such a great job shaming young women into putting all her eggs in one basket/one scrote to make things work with him no matter how difficult and painful he makes it out to be, because women who has different options are whores and not real relationship material.
Too bad when you date multiple men and they are aware of each other, it makes at least one of them start to get nervous and try to see if he can have you choose him out of all the other men. A woman with no options makes a man wonder what the hell is wrong with her and if he's stuck with a loser that no other men want. He'll wonder if he's settling for something bad when he should be looking out for ~quality women~ out there that the whole world wants.
Not that it's good to pick him just because he's jealous and competitive, but to choose him because you're both compatible and he treats you very well and is consistent in his effort. In that woman's case from Reddit, she should start hanging out with male friends and start distancing herself from the relationship, perhaps maybe even asking for a time out or a short break altogether; stay busy and maybe start giving out her number to other men and see what else is out there. Men do this literally every single day... There was once a case where a woman found out that the man she's been seeing dumped her on the same exact day he was getting MARRIED to another woman! Literally, 30 minutes after he dumps her over text, he marries another woman that she had no idea existed. Like, c'mon now.
I want FDS to come back on Reddit. It felt like a pink safe haven and the women posting on there are on fire. Most thing I agree with. A few still have a pickme vibe such as blaming the woman for letting men cause them pain. No, it’s never ever your fault if a man hurts you, but most posts are so inspirational. I tried to look on the WGTOW forum on Reddit but I was so disappointed when they say they would accept trans women. I’m sorry but they aren’t real women. I’m a womanist, I stand for my rights first and stand for the rights of my sisters all over the world second because FDS has shown that if you put yourself first and put other people second you still have a good life, careers with friends who care about you. Putting other people first, before your needs (especially men)Leads to being a doormat and being used. In movies the fantasy of putting other ppl first before your needs gives you good things in return is always shoved in the face of the viewer but in reality you’re just a pickme waiting to be swept off your feet by a scrote giving you a mediocre life while lives like a king. And others see you as free accessible resource they can use As long they have the nice person act on point.
When you put people second you’re helping them without being taken advantage of or let you hold onto the short end of the stick.
Unfortunately with the FDS site I don’t get the same value. But I do hope FDS Instagram will be updated often to be entertained by loser scrote posts and give great advise.
In my opinion the only responsibility a woman has is becoming a Queen High in caliber. Being a pickme or female scrote is unacceptable.
Also I read posts on the nice guy sub on Reddit. That’s a fine sun for daily entertainment from scrote posts.
