You're dating an 18 year old who is younger than some of the students you teach, as in a student graduates the school you teach, and you "slide in their dms after" because you found them "hot" the entire time you taught them 🤢.

Now, if he had a daughter with her, would it be safe for that daughter to bring over her highschool friends? To have sleepovers and pool parties? Not when her dad is a proud Ephebophile. 🤢

I don't believe that 18 year old girl wanted to think about having a man's kids at only 18. I think he was grooming her because she obviously is at an easy to groom age. It's funny that they think they need til almost 30 to enjoy their life and feel ready for some responsibility but an 18 year old who can't possibly know what she wants to do with her life so soon should agree to have his babies.

I see. Age-gap relationships have been around for a long time, so there’s a lot of entrenched acceptance of them. Thats why I was confused, cause when I hear ‘normalizing’, I think of people trying to make a minority opinion (or behavior, or agenda) into a majority opinion. But I feel the majority opinion regarding age-gap relationships is that ‘if its between two consenting adults, who am I to get in the way of love’ position you mentioned.

When they know damn well if the situation were reversed everybody would defend the older man lol. It gets on my nerves. Suddenly everybody knows about life stages if the woman is less than a decade older than the man.

The same people that accept age gaps where the girl is younger no matter the size call women "cradle robbers" when her man is 5 years younger than her. They call her a "couger" if she dates a man 2 years younger. Women that say, eww I would never date a man 1 year younger are saying "I don't want to look older or be seen as older yet".
