This is so embarrassing. Whatever lies they tell you, men resent being chased and despise women they deem 'desperate'. It's a stupid double-standard, especially as most of them can't be bothered to chase women anyway, but it is what it is.

I think I know the reason why there's this weird pressure on especially younger women (like teens to 20s) to go and chase after the men, and it's because young women try extremely hard to not be anything like their mothers, grandmothers, or even older sisters and other female family members who had to date the traditional way decades ago. Women are getting pressured to behave as "politically correct/liberal" as possible, which basically means give everything up super quickly and easily to men, because then at least you don't have to end up like your poor stupid grandmother or mom who then stayed home with the children.

Let me just remind anyone who's reading this right now, but chasing after men, as experiences has shown us, does absolutely nothing except open us to very hurtful rejections, ghosting, disrespect, or a terrible dead-end relationship with no future in sight. We have been told since we were adolescents that we are more privileged than boys in our classes, that women live life on easy mode over men, and we have to basically repent for our sins of being born with a p*ssy. And one good way to do this, is to act masculine and chase + dote on men and let men get inside their feminine essence since we were the ones oppressing them instead of the other way around smh.

Or worse, that this is a good way to ✨humble ✨ ourselves. As if we hadn't been humbled since we were in middle school, high school, college, elementary school, all the way down to the day we were born when the news that you were going to be born a girl let everybody in the family down when they had hoped for a son. As if we hadn't been teased and bullied and put down and out right physically assaulted for being female by our male peers. As if we hadn't been cheated on constantly no matter how much we have done for our boyfriends back then. As if our mothers would scream at us for stepping just one centimeter out of line while treating our brothers like kinds, as if our fathers hated us for our bodies developing. We have been humbled from our mother's womb and as a class we have been humbled since the stone age.

We don't need to chase. We don't need to face constant rejections like this. Women's and girl's self esteems are already astronomically lower than men and boys despite what idiotic incel loser might tell you. We're the ones starving ourselves, cutting ourselves up in the operating room to attain the porn ready bodies, and have to do so much to look perfect. We're the ones who are told we are worthless after age 25. We're the ones who have to take the high road and just accept our men stepping out on us with another woman, while men get to post "I caught her cheating red handed ROFLMAOOOO" online and everyone babies him for his broken little heart.

I'm sorry for this gigantic post but fuck this makes me so angry.
