Came across a viral Instagram reel where young men argued for paying the bill on a first date. They’re a skit comedy page which makes the post less healing to watch (lol) but the messaging is still solid. Refreshing to hear men defend why it’s necessary and confirm what paying for a date conveys for the man and for the woman. Comments are interesting to read.

It's cause these days men know women will pay the bill on the date to get away from them. It's still a control tactic. There's been numerous dates I've offered to get my own shit so I can just get it and leave- they refuse. I don't date anymore but that's the last status update I saw of dating scene. Yes now the genders are warring over who pays for the french fries lol.
