I don't know.. I actually like this law because now if men want to have sex they'll have to level up and if they're caught cheating well. Does that also include no more prostitution? If it does that would be great.
Well, I don't know if it's really the government's business, but it's probably the only way to get males to actually get married these days. And maybe it will stop the sex traffickers--or maybe not? Lots of pros and cons to this type of law, though. I don't sleep around, so it wouldn't be a big deal to me. But I do know it would put a big damper on night life anywhere in the world and might cause Men to have sex with boys like they do in Afghanistan. Sigh. Why can't humans ever just be normal? Lol.

What are you talking about this is great. Is it weird? YeaIs it probably gonna be misapplied? YeaIs it one of the few things I've seen in my life that would give the country the ability to prosecute John's coming to the country for sex tourism? YES
Ajeng, a 28-year-old Muslim woman living in the West Java city of Depok, said she was now at risk for living with her partner for the past five years."With the new law, both of us can go to jail if one of the family decides to make a police report," she told the BBC."What if there's one family member who has a problem with me and decides to send me to jail?Don't be so focused on Johns that you miss the larger picture.

Girl, don't we actively advise all women to not live with men they aren't married to? Isn't this law encouraging the same thing? And how can one of them be reported without condemning the other? You're looking to be mad at a ruling that the people will have a lot of sway over (Parliament govt's have quicker responses to the people's changing attitudes bc of the voting structure)Why are we suddenly mad when a government is cracking down on sex that enables them to respond to sex tourism? Or trying to reign in casual attitudes towards sex from a cultural perspective? Like it isn't anti-woman legislation, it IS the opposite of lib-fem legislation and I'm 100% here for it.
I agree with not living with men. What I am concerned with is how things will really play out. Get rid of Johns without painting everything with a broad brush.
Governments should never have this level of control over peoples’ lives. It’s not their place.
I don't trust it. I feel like this will disproportionately affect women who are coerced or raped by men.
