If you're not the type to directly ask the "what kind of porn do you watch" question, "what vices do you have" might just be the best alternative. Let the scrotes tell on themselves.
I was on a date with a guy once upon a time that didn't drink, smoke, like coffee etc. We were talking about food preferences. I don't drink or anything either, but I do have a probably unhealthy love of soda - so I asked him if he had any vices, thinking he would say something equally quirky or funny like, idk, "I'm addicted to ketchup".
Well, he brought up porn, because tact is not something men are born with.
The conversation went something like this:
Me: So if you don't drink or like coffee, do you have any vices?
Him: I guess I used to be addicted to porn.
Me: ??? What??? Are you joking right now?
Him: Nah, I used to watch way too much of it. I watched it instead of tv.
Me: "Used to"? ...Like how long ago?
Him: Like up until like a few weeks ago.
Me: (dying internally) Oh, what made you stop?
Him: It got kind of boring and repetitive. And it's not very respectful towards women.
Me: Well and it's not like real sex at all.
Him: It's not like real sex?
Me: ????? No?? ...You think it is??
Him: (avoided answering and got awkward)
That's a guy that expects a performance every time and probably thinks normal sex is "boring". Extreme red flags. I reacted strongly at the time because I was taken aback, but if you anticipate his answer being that he does watch porn, you can probably get more information out of the guy by pretending to be cool with it.
And men wonder why we choose to be single... 🙄
He watched it INSTEAD OF TV?! That also implies he had no hobbies so he was possibly watching it for hours every evening. How embarrassing. Lol he thought it was like real sex 🤣 was he a Virgin? I believe in shaming men for this behaviour. I bet he hadn’t quit porn. The truth is NOT because women were being hurt, it’s because he was developing peyronie’s.
Nice work getting him to reveal himself. Better to find out on a date than in the bedroom.
This is great advice. Watch out for guys who exchanged porn for erotica too. They think erotica is harmless to them since they "don't watch it" but their brain is already pornsick. The type of erotica they consume says it all.
oh that's easy: all guys watch porn. outliers are rare, but have seen porn at some point. we live in a completely pornified society and before the internet there was playboy and such. they have been in contact with porn since they were kids. i honestly think that a man who doesn't watch porn AT ALL does not exist.
about the guy you mentioned: so he thinks porn = real sex, and also porn = not very respectful towards women. therefore sex = not respectful towards women. hmmmmm....
"instead of tv" uuuummmm????
How to find out if a guy watches porn??? Uuumm .......because he's a guy??
"Up until a few weeks ago" meant:
"I made sure to quit watching porn for a few weeks before my date, so that I could feel less like I'm lying when I say that I don't watch porn."
He was so dumb lol. I think most men who watch p*rn wouldn't be dumb enough to admit it.
