Background: I'm ethnically Asian and have zero tolerance for men (of any ethnicity) with Asian fetishes.
Recently, I matched with a white man from OLD and found his Instagram account. I noticed he follows a few dozen Asian women on Instagram. Not all (perhaps not even most) of the people he follows are Asian women, but there are just enough of them to set off my spidey senses. They all follow him back, so their social media relationships seem to be mutual. Of course, the women are all young and attractive.
My question: how many Asian social media friends does a non-Asian man have to have in order for it to become a red flag?

But in general following Strangers in social Media IS weird.
I don't think men should be following people they don't know. It is a red flag.
A man following a oddly high number of young attractive women is always a red flag. That's true especially if he doesnt know them in real life, but also if he does know them irl. I've turned down male potential roommates because their Facebook friends lists seemed ... improbable.
And of course, if the oddly high number of young attractive women are oddly all Asian, that's even worse.
Consider that women tend to be friends with women, and men tend to be friends with men. And people also tend to have more friends of their own ethnic background. Are there more young attractive Asian women in his friends list than there are in yours? Why? No good reason, that's for sure.
If he doesn't live in an Asian country or community, it's a red flag. If it's mostly young women, it's a red flag.
You could try asking him if he's ever been to Thailand or China or wants to go and see where that story goes. If he's overly enthusiastic, that's a yellow flag. Men will tell on themselves 😂
Also is the guy only following young Asian girls? Not any Asian guys. Bingo red flag!
I don’t know if there’s a certain number but I would consider it a major red flag IF the guy is white and much older than these girls. From personal experience, these types of guys use tinder or instagram to find and connect with these women. Dig deeper and you’ll probably find a porn fetish and sexting. What I found was Asian stepdaughter porn. Made me sick.
