If men really want that then a new bill should be passed like the Spartan days but for men only where only rich men are qualified to marry, have sex and reproduce because if a woman is not allowed to work then only men with endless resources for her to use are allowed to date and be a father.

Yes, I literally saw a man comment "Women have too much choice and disposable income, and so they're free to leave marriages at the drop of the hat." As if that's a bad thing? Yeah my ex husband was like this. Wanted me to stay home, cook and wear lingerie to greet him when he came home. Only problem… he married an extremely successful woman who also works and paid for her own shit (including an airplane).

How quickly men forget what led up to the socioeconomic conditions of the 1950s was a world war almost all the men went off to fight.
Great numbers of men would first have to get killed in some sort of big cataclysmic sacrifice before anything like the 50s can happen again.
Don't even get me started on how the men "let" the women work because they needed women's labour to keep the weapons factories and everything else chugging along during the war, only to go back to limiting what women can do after the war, when it suited men.

They'd argue that in order for all men to become eligible hubby material with lots of money to raise a family in the burbs, all women would have to stop working and be barred from the workforce completely. It's how they made the 50s era happen, after all. Afghanistan recently just banned all women from attending university after so many years of them being able to stand a chance to get in, thanks to the Taliban. So I sometimes wonder what this could spell for the American future if things like that can be switched overnight.
