I think the Roe decision has finally made some libfems wake the fuck up. Men have never been on our side, and have just been playing the long- con when it comes to legislation. They were just stringing us along, and the libfems took their words seriously…as if a handful of wins in government now magically reduced the need to continually fight for women’s rights. According to libfems, the fight for women’s empowerment doesn’t need to be as “extreme” as our grandmothers made it- those problems are now “outdated” and “obscure” in their eyes.
But the problems our predecessors faced are not outdated. They never were. They’re still here, alive and well and festering- and this decision is just the tip of the iceberg.
“Bu-bu-but—We’re equal to men now…” the libfems said.
“PoWeR of tHE PuSsy!”—-oh you mean the pussy that your grandmother worked her ass off to get contraception, abortion, and other reproductive rights for? I swear RBG must be rolling in her grave right now.
They’ve lost sight of the fact that radical feminism was meant to be the blueprint, the foundation of our voice.
They‘ve been shamelessly gaslit into thinking that casual sex is a true equivalent for women’s empowerment. Casual sex doesn’t substitute power, not by a long shot. Don’t ever get it twisted- POWER is power, nothing else.
Liberal feminism is an example of what happens when you forget the work that went into your privileges of being a modern woman. When you feel entitled to things that have seemingly “always been”, without realizing that that could change in a split second.
I have to thank God every day for finding FDS and getting the chance to realize that I didn’t have to be someone’s something in order to have worth. I am worthy alone. I am worthy just by being me. My legacy is independent of others. These are ideas that so many women do not understand.
Every interview I’ve seen with a woman who was trying to defend anti-abortion law kept using the “all life is worthy” argument. Ok fine- is YOUR life not worthy? They’re so brainwashed that they think that it’s ok to see a woman’s life as something that must be put dead last, behind everything and everyone. It’s so sad to see these women admit that their worth lies in self-sacrifice, even to the emotional or physical death. Many American women trust men and their intentions 1000%, and turn a blind eye to any sign that suggests that men have NEVER given a damn about what women want. Men never cared about us, conservative women and libfems need to understand that they‘re not immune to this apathy.
Mix conservative pick-me thirst for male validation + the persistence of libfem denial and VOILA you have our current situation.
I don’t know how exactly we should go about doing this, but right now is THE PEAK TIME to share FDS with women. This is not the time to minimize distribution. I don’t know if there will ever be a time as ripe as this to show women what empowerment really looks like. There is no better time to convince them to change and free themselves from the bullshit. We need to leverage the current climate to our benefit; we need to leverage the current climate to maximize the benefit of women.
"Bu-bu-but— We're equal to men now..." This was on my mind too. Liberal feminists were unwilling to listen to us. They accused us of living in the past. Berated us. Mocked us. Villainized us. They spend their whole time policing women's language. Calling us bs like non-men. Like wtf. I am a woc. I don't want to be called non-men by some white feminist hiding her racism behind progressives!?!? Liberal feminism. Aka mainstream feminism lost the fucking plot. They tried to be for everybody but they stand for no one. They're are corporate bought.
Yes! Let this be the end of choice/lib/corporate feminism.
Power is power!
If men were going to change, they would have changed by now. Nothing women can do will change men's behavior. They ones that are good, will be good. The rest will do whatever they want regardless. They have to make the choice to be better.
And as we see from i*cels and NEETs, they choose to double down on being hateful and repulsive to women.
We have to fight to keep our independence, because they are coming for that next. We have to fight to expand our rights, to codify our rights, to get our equal rights in the Constitution, so they cannot be so easily taken away.
This is also a global fight. We have to stand together.
