What they never consider is the pretty heartbreaking results this can have.
In my extended family there was also a man who always hid when it came to taking family photos or pictures in general. He would hold a paper in front of his face and actually walk away instead of smiling for a quick picture with his family. There aren't even any of the "standard" pictures of him, like him holding his newborn children. And then he died and his kids didn't have a single family picture of him with them. There wasn't even a halfway recent photo of him looking happy to use for his funeral and obituary. They actually considered using his passport photo but ended up cropping him out of an ancient wedding photo (not even his wedding, someone elses). Isn't that sad? They don't even have anything to show his grandchildren when they ask about their grandfather.
This already happened before Facebook was really a thing. But we used to joke that he was acting like this because he is actually a wanted fugitive or secret agent and doesn't want to get caught. He was neither, obviously (hopefully? fugitive maybe, but definitely too dumb for secret agent XD). Just a very weird guy.
I had so many memories come back of my big baby ex husband doing shit like this when I first saw this TikTok. His lack of wanting to take simple vacation pics turned into terrible arguments. I think this finally inspired me to burn all my old wedding photos. He's only in a few. 😄
My dad worked in academia, so we didn’t have a lot of money during my very earlier years, but started being able to live more comfortably as time went on. As soon as we were able to afford it, we had a professional family portrait done at a studio. I hate having my picture taken, but i remember it as one of my fondest memories with my parents, because they were both really excited about it, especially my dad. He was always excited about things we did together as a family. I feel really bad for kids who grow up with selfish, childish men as their fathers.
See, this is why I want a doctor, preferably a surgeon. I want him too busy with patients l, paperwork and papers to do stupid things like video games. And if I end up a work widow, at least he is off helping people.
Wow. Did not know this. I’m wondering if it’s because the job is often morbid in a way that many properly adjusted people can’t handle? While also bestowing prestige
“And you’re sitting here complaining because you have to spend a half an hour to an hour taking photos with the family that you created? Grow up,” she quipped. “I would rather a million times over do a photo shoot for kids who are screaming and crying because they didn’t sleep well the night before... than do a photo shoot with a dude who’s got a s--- attitude.”It's funny how men whine about being screwed over during custody cases, but when they're actually married with kids... they don't give a shit about them

Husband addicted to his x box - he can go live in studio apartment with his damn x box!
Men really act like literal babies
Tell me you’re headed for divorce without saying you’re headed for divorce!

Men ruining the opportunity for their families to create happy memories, what a surprise...
The dad complaining he wanted to play Xbox???? Wtf?????? I would expect that from a kid, not a grown ass man. These waves should get a divorce.
