HONY has been one disappointment after another these days. On the 14th there was a story from someone who broke off their engagement after finding their female partner "looking through my phone." "I felt sympathy for her.... She can't help her insecurities" says this person, trying to look awesome and supportive -- but meanwhile, also saying "Some of my friendships made her uncomfortable: women, always." Mmmm-hmmmm. (To be honest, the photo didn't show the person's face, so there was some discussion in the comments about whether this was a male or a female, but either way, the narrative sounded like a textbook narc.)
Three days before there, there was a sickening one about a literal sperm donor whose free "services" are contingent on the women agreeing to let him "stay involved." "I have eighteen other children," he boasts. "Why put your entire bloodline into one child when you can spread it out?" His next goal is 36 kids (because it's a holy number in Judaism?). Oh, and he's also on the lookout for a couple of "sister wives."
And three days before THAT, there was a man in his late 40s who "leveled up" by buying pants that actually fit. He decided he'd "like to have kids someday" so he needed a girlfriend. Unsurprisingly, he did find a very young woman who looks to be in her 20s (I could be wrong, but she is definitely a lot younger than him) -- the picture of them together is so cringe.
So yeah. I get that HONY tries to be unbiased and just present people in their own words, but it's been hella depressing lately. Taking a break from it now.

I never heard of HONY till now (and wish I hadn’t 😭 ALL the men are such scrotes ) but the actor guy who broke up with his girlfriend… nobody in the replies is pointing out that men like this love to stoke this drama, by maintaining a “harem” of female friends, at various levels of backburner, the guy then USES this harem to feel chased and validated, to triangulate and aid his Game, which never stops not with these men. Usually goes along with a heavy dose of gaslighting and Narc abuse until the girlfriend is convincingly shown as “crazy”. Sorry but I’ve seen this done to so many female friends.
