Men are far more likely than women to be on the dating market: 61% of single men say they are currently looking for a relationship or dates, compared with 38% of single women.
Women who have found it difficult to date are much more likely than men to say a major reason for their difficulty is that it’s hard to find someone who meets their expectations (56% vs. 35%) and that it’s hard to find someone looking for the same kind of relationship as them (65% vs. 45%).
More proof that women have higher standards than men
I read between the lines that it’s most likely the 56% of women want a decent man and 65%, a serious relationship, while the men’s expectations are probably to do with her not being a “gold digger” and being hot and also being okay with something casual. Remember - single men are single for a reason.
