I saw this is my Instagram feed and decided to share it in my stories. My mom saw it and responded "be careful with the excuses" since I'm 33 and never dated. She's also been single since she divorced my dad sooooo............I don't know what her issue is.
Anyway, I still like the post.
I have been JOYOUSLY single for the last 3 years. It is infinitely preferable to the drama and constant exhaustion/heartbreak/abuse that come with the majority of men.
Solitude is peace. Peace is true happiness.
I've focused on doing my best at work this past year. I have an awesome boss who sees it, appreciates it and gladly helps my career bloom. I have snatched an amazing mentor. I get to travel to exciting destinations, be it for work or on my own - because my effort pays well. I don't have any scrote to suck this money, energy and beauty off of me. I would need a lot more hands to count all the people that are jealous of my life on daily basis, just because I am able get my beauty sleep regularly and have time to actually read books. If this is what unhappy, lonely spinster sounds like, sign me up for life.
Being single is so liberating. I try to but can't quite imagine someone I'd give it up for at this stage.
Is your mom being a bit bitter? You’re simply not wasting your time on trash that’s all. Who needs that negative boyfriend energy in their lives anyway.
Your mom wants grandkids
I'm wondering if this post was meant for men to be single. Since it says "settling and putting up with foolishness most women are" , is it saying about women being foolish?
