WARNING: These are HANDBOOK POSTS -- WRITTEN A LONG TIME AGO by some great women with great thoughts and deemed as handbook worthy by FDS mods for a reason. If you feel triggered or disagree with something -- THE SMART THING TO DO IS TO MOVE ON. Agree to disagree and go on your merry way. Stop trying to start bullsh*t in the comment section because I have no patience to deal with you.

Nadia Bokody - bills herself as a "Columnist, sex positive feminist, Sexpert and mental health advocate" - she's written more than 250 articles for major media, including The Washington Post, Huffpost, Cosmo, News.com.au:

She's been criticized on FDS for pushing a pro-porn agenda via her columns:
Nadia Bokody was a struggling journalist who finally broke into mainstream in April 2018 by claiming to be a sex addict and bragging about fucking a married colleague:
She wrote an article for mamamia describing having a complete meltdown in front of her colleagues after being rejected by a work colleague she was having sex with:
https://www.mamamia.com.au/crying-in-front-of-colleagues/
In October 2018, she wrote a viral article for SheSaid where she detailis having 7 one night stands with strangers in 7 days after her divorce, in which she describes repeatedly crying, but also says left her with a "feeling of empowerment":

In 2019, she confessed she made the whole sex addict thing up, and said that "sex addiction is not a real thing".
So Nadia is not a sex addict by definition, but what does Nadia have? Severe Borderline Personality disorder! So much so, she had to be involuntarily hospitalized in a psych ward in 2019, which she confesses is not her first time:
Here she admits that her BPD caused her to be very abusive to her partners with increasingly escalating emotiional abuse including getting into screaming matches, self harming as punishment and throwing things at her partners:

So it appears that Nadia's "empowering" sexcapades and inability to deal with the emotional fallout of her relationships, might actually be just compulsive sex and self harm, a symptom of BPD. And the "empowerment" she felt having one night stands was short lived, as the rejection from these men triggered many of her emotional dysregulation and abandonment fears typical of those with BPD.
While there is surely a place in media for people from different walks of life to discuss their experiences and growth, why is she being sought after as "Sexpert" columnist?
For the record, "Sexpert" and "Mental Health Advocate" are meaningless terms. There are absolutely no qualifications required to call yourself either of these terms except the willingness to overshare on the internet.
Why are people who suffer from understanding appropriate boundaries and have emotional dysregulation issues being asked to write relationship and sex articles as experts for women? Especially those with ZERO medical or therapeutic background?
Literally zero idea what qualifies this person to write about sex and relationships from a rando on the street.
The handbook posts project.
