I finished undergrad and grad school. I am studying for the LSATS, I'm interested in becoming an attorney. I make 6 figures and own my home. I'm an intellectual and am seeking the same in a partner.
I met a life coach, a woman who tried to offer me unsolicited advice.
She believes a man's educational attainment does not matter. While it's true men do not care about a woman's occupation and perhaps not even her educational attainment, I do. I'm not concerned with how a man dates, I'm concerned with my own wants and needs. I've had conversations with men who held less than an undergraduate degree and it left me bothered. I am not signing up to be negged and brainwashed.
I have invested in my education and want to date/marry my equal. She went on to tell me her boyfriend makes 6 figures with both of his jobs and that men want a woman to be there for them and not always working or doing other things but making time for them. I'm not new to relationships however, I'm not giving up my dreams to "be there" for him. She also said that the man is the head and he needs to feel that he has that space. Nope.
It's so hard dealing with pick mes. I leave them to their pickme delusions but this one ruffled my feathers. It's always, women who have less education that try to knock me down a peg and are so proud of their relationships in which their "man" is literally controlling them and they are too stupid to see it. They believe themselves to be the standard and want to help other women. She is online advertising her services to other women to help them through their lives when hers is a dumpster fire.
Lol!! I feel you. I also will never date anyone with less education than me … if he makes less money it’s fine but as long as he is the main provider it won’t bother me and he is not touching my money. A good man will give the last $20.00 in his pocket to his wife if she needs something.
My stay at home sister is the biggest of pick mes and waits every week for her allowance. I get sick when I hear allowance. What are you 6 years old? You should have access to all the damn money and spend whatever you want. Allowance 🤢
This has also been my experience. The absolute majority of men in blue collar jobs and/or without a college education cannot even fathom how much work it actually is to get ahead there (especially as a woman whose parents aren't rich and didn't go to college themselves) and they are extremely disrespectful about it. I have yet to meet a man like that who hasn't been at least patronizing as hell, outright disrespectful and who has never said something along the lines of "you don't even know what real work is", "you wasted all that time and money while I was doing real work", "you brainiacs are too dumb to repair a dripping faucet and make money sitting on your ass all day, it's so unfair!", "women going to college is a waste of time and taxpayer money anyway because they will stop working to raise kids" and so on.
Ikr. Like… some women genuinely believe that acting dumber than you are and letting some loser boss you around is less embarrassing just because he picked you. like don’t you feel stupid right now? doesn’t looking at him make you mad??
I only read the FDS handbook and the listen to the ppl and read books it recommends. Internet Gurus play the devils advocate for men saying a man can still love you even if they cheated. Veronica V. Mahogany pink. Lexxus are the FDS queens who are the best on YouTube. I can’t stand women who claim that you need to be in contact with your ex because you have kids with him. No, you only respond to the bastard if he wants to make an appointment to see his children. Besides that you respond to none of his texts. And when his kids are old enough to travel to his place and use a phone he shouldn’t even be calling you ever again. Women who claim that you need to be in good terms with him are pickme’s. Avoid them.
what is she, a man whisperer? ew. who gives a sh *t what they want?
yeah, we all want connection, but how unhealthy is it for ANYONE to drop everything and attach to a person? it would drive me insane.
