I'm so grateful for OLD, truly.
Lately I've been feeling an bit lonely, like I've been wanting to date, and my friend has been flakey about going out and being my wingman, so I decided to get back on OLD and browse what's out there.

After the picture of the guy french-kissing his dog, to the guy who straight-up wrote that he wanted a "beautiful, fit, down-to-earth woman with no drama to bear [his] children", and the guy who wanted a "thicc alt girl" to "join" his current relationship...
I closed the app, poured myself a glass of wine, and cheers'd to the beauty of being single. I no longer feel lonely, but profoundly grateful. OLD is a beautiful reminder that I'm actually not missing out on anything, at all.

I feel like most guys who do use OLD frequently are the guys you want to avoid anyways. Your best bet is to meet someone organically through common friends or events that interest you.
