Be wary of male psychologists

These so called " coaches" are predatory 99% of the time. I do not date them, and I only want a female psychologist after one male hit on me in my twenties.

Excellent catch from OP - good post! I know a man in his fifties that is a therapist - a black man, and he keeps his wife away from the women in his family because he wants her to stay subservient to him. He says she is from another culture that caters to men. I'd disown him.

I have an acquaintance that has relationship therapy with her boyfriend who is from another culture one that is patriarchal, and their therapist is a white man who seems to give the boyfriend more bandwidth than the woman in the relationship. The therapist does not address the woman's assertion of her need to be treated fairly in the relationship and her need for improved self-esteem....instead she is agreeing to meeting his needs (cleaning and cooking) although they are spending more time together - he still tells her we will always cheat.

To wrap up, I don't trust male (insert profession here). It's a gaslight to think because he has a credential that he's different.

Here's another coach / psychologist / helper that is not really helping, only his own selfish needs, at €50 a pop.

What I notice is not alot of men uptaking the chance to learn and grow, not that this event is doing that. A woman would have to teach to break system of patriarchy and devaluation.

Coz men have so many challenging situations to deal with like hoping they don't die in childbirth, only thing they need to afraid of is other men!

And it does look like they are panicking online taking to sperm donor apps now to trap women. I wish women would strike globally together.

Well, a male psychologist drove a car through a Christmas market here on Friday killing five people so far (four women and a 9-year old child) and injuring over 200 (some of whom are still in critical condition). His past tweets obviously show that he was a completely unhinged conspiracy theorist... and that man was still practising and warnings about him were not taken seriously by authorities.

It's just another example of a theory that I have had for a very long time: that many - if not most - mental health "professionals" have severe mental health issues themselves and studying psychology was just an early attempt to understand or fix their own problems or even a way play out their fantasies of having power over other people. And that these people are left unchecked and have constant access to vulnerable patients. I've rarely met someone working in the mental health field who I would call a stable and well-adjusted person and I've never met a man working in that field who didn't give me kind of an icky "enjoys seeing people vulnerable and having power over them" vibe.

Sure Jan…I wanna be in a room with toxic abusive men, listening to the teachings of a toxic abusive man, so I can be manipulated into a false sense of safety, and be pursued by toxic abusive men. Only 10 bucks?! This workshop sounds a-mazing! 😂

He's not a psychologist tho , he's just a coach so that's already a red flag
