The idea of a woman sexualising herself is being used as patriarchal propaganda and an excuse for depravity by men. It is an insidious form of victim-blaming and putting the 'responsibility' of men's inability to see/treat us as humans on us. Our sexuality is our own, and no matter how many bans or tantrums they throw, they will never own it.
You see the same 'logic' used by the forced birth group. Just like a woman doesn't sexualise herself she also does NOT get herself pregnant. Where is the accountability? Personally, I think that explains why men are so quiet about Roe. They don't want to take responsibility, they want to continue profiting from the status quo and they know this puts us in an even more vulnerable position. Men dehumanize/abuse/murder and then turn around to put the 'responsibility' on us. And when they say that they'd 'love' to be sexualised they just mean that they wish they could have the same access we have to them without stopping to something so low, cowardly and cruel as the patriarchy.

I sort-of disagree. I think there are some women who do sexualize themselves, however I don’t understand why men act like it’s a punishable offense. Scrotes want sex but then when a woman acts sexual she’s a horrible person deserving of abuse. It reminds me of the old saying “give them an inch and they’ll take a mile”
I don't think it's fair to say that they sexualize themselves. Their industry demands they walk around nearly naked to be successful and please men. And right now porn is hot so our celebrities are dressing and acting like porn stars to fulfill the demands of the patriarchy. All these celebs have entire teams dressing them, deciding what they wear and photograph and video for publicity and we do see women who don't want to bend the knee to these standards get many more setbacks career wise and profit wise. The whole industry is ran and controlled by men.
As for the only fans workers.. yeah they're making 180 bucks a month to show everything and try anything to succeed as part of a pyramid scheme soo.. Even big name porn actresses only make a few thousand. They are in a tough spot financially because our society isn't built to help these women, it's built to keep them desperately "sexualizing themselves" for men's benefit.
But some women do sexualize themselves for the attention of men. A lot of female singers sexualize themselves in their music videos and in their lyrics. Those are the pick mes who don’t have high standards for themselves and only benefit men. Only fans is full of women sexualizing themselves for profit. We can’t deny the existence of such women because they do exist. Men however are just a lost species, they only think with their dick.
